Dimitris Papakanellou is a Partner with KPMG in Greece, leading the Strategy, Customer & Operations practice. He specializes in large scale strategy, value chain operations optimization, advanced commercial analytics and restructuring & transformation projects.
His clients include some of the largest Greek private sector companies as well as many government bodies & institutions.
In his career to date with Arthur Andersen, Kantor (affiliate of Booz&Co in Greece) where he led the Management Consulting Practice and PwC where he led the Strategy & Operations practice, he has acquired extensive experience across various sectors – with special focus on the Energy sector. He has helped some of the largest energy companies in Greece to optimize their organization and operations across business & support functions. He has also assisted private sector clients and government bodies & institutions in structuring and evaluating large scale renewables projects as well as in policy making assignments.
Dimitris holds an Engineering Diploma in Chemical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, a MSc. degree in Automatic Control & Systems Engineering from University of Sheffield and a MSc. degree in Operations Management from the University of Manchester. Finally, Dimitris is ACCA certified in Accounting & Finance.
