Country Head for South East Europe and Africa
Ana leads the coverage activities in South East Europe and Africa for Macquarie Asset Management (MAM), responsible for developing and managing MAM’s business across the two regions.
When she joined MAM, Ana was on the renewables investment team, where she led the origination and execution of clean energy transactions in Africa for UK Climate Investments, a joint venture between MAM and the UK government.
Ana started her career at the World Bank in Washington D.C., where she was working on sustainable infrastructure programs and project finance transactions across emerging markets. After that, she spent five years working for a leading UK-based power developer, Aldwych International, and was involved in the development and construction of several landmark IPP projects in sub-Saharan Africa.
She is a Board Director of HEDNO in Greece.
Ana holds a Master of Arts in international affairs from the School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), Johns Hopkins University.
