Panos Alexandris holds the position of General Secretary of Justice and Human Rights since 15/7/2019 to the Ministry of Justice. He is President of the National Council against Racism and Intolerance and same Council for the Children's Rights. As barrister he served as Litigation Partner. He has acted as advisor to Greek Ministers and the Prime Minister’s office.
Panos Alexandris between March 2015 and July 2019 served also as Head of the Greek Delegation of Council of Bars and Law Societies of Europe (CCBE).
