Agnès Levallois is graduated from National Institute of Oriental Languages and Civilizations, in Arabic language and from the Institute of Political Sciences -Sciences Po Paris. She worked 15 years as an expert for Middle East affairs at the SGDN, General Office for National Defence and at the Delegation for Strategical affairs, Minister of Defence.
She then, had an experience in media as editor in chief, responsible for Middle East department at Risques internationaux, Head of News and programs in RMC MO and Head of broadcasting in the Arabic Service at France 24.
She is now Senior Research Fellow at the Fondation pour la Recherche Stratégique (FRS). She works on contemporary Arab world issues, geopolitical and geostrategic developments, terrorism and radicalisation issues. She is also vice-president of the think tank iReMMO (Institut de recherche et d’études Méditerranée Moyen-Orient) and a lecturer at SciencesPo Paris and at IRIS (Institut de Relations internationales et stratégiques).
Besides, she is a member of the editorial board of the quarterly journal, Confluences Méditerranée. She wrote several articles and books about the Middle East.
