Labrina Barmpetaki has been named President and Managing Director Greece, Cyprus & Malta effective April 1st, 2023. Labrina joined Abbott in October 2009 as Strategic Projects Manager, Customer Excellence, Western Europe & Canada. She moved to Abbott France in 2012 as Head of the Key Account Management team, in Market Access & Institutional Affairs department, and in 2015 she was named Business Unit Manager Neonatology and Anesthesia, Specialty Care Products, AbbVie Spain. In 2016, she was promoted to Area Organization Excellence and Neonatology Commercial Director, Western Europe, and Canada. In 2018, she moved to Business Uni t Director Specialties (Specialty Care, Oncology & HCV) in Switzerland while in June 2021, she assumed her most recent role that of Business Unit Director Specialty Care Italy. Prior to joining Abbott/AbbVie, Labrina worked for IQVIA as Market Access and Pricing Senior Consultant in the UK, and as Strategy Management Consultant/Commercial Effectiveness in Germany. She also worked for Allianz Germany and for Apivita Greece, holding several Marketing and Sales positions. Labrina holds a Pharmacy Degree fr om the University of Patras in Greece, a Μ aster Degree of Management in Healthcare from Athens University of Economics, and Business and an MBA with specialization in Marketing from University of Lancaster in the UK.
