Zoran Miljanić was born on 29th November 1965 in Titograd.
Education
He graduated from the Faculty of Security in Skopje in 1988, where he also completed postgraduate studies in the field of criminology.
Work experience
He started his career at the Republic Secretariat for Internal Affairs of Montenegro, where he worked until the end of 1989.
From 1990 to 1998, he worked as the Head of the Criminal Police Department at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Macedonia.
He worked as a private entrepreneur from 1998 to 2012, when he was elected as a member of the Parliament of Montenegro. He was a member of the Security and Defence Committee, the Anti-Corruption Committee and the Human Rights Committee at the Parliament until October 2016.
In 2018, he was elected as the Secretary General of the Citizens' Association CIVIS.
He served as the State Secretary at the Ministry of the Interior (December 2020 - April 2022).
Mr. Miljanić is currently serving as the Minister without Portfolio in charge of implementing anti-corruption policy.
He speaks Macedonian and English.
