Professor at INSEAD since 2001 and co-founder of Tremau, a technology company that provides solutions to manage technology risks and comply with digital regulations. Has been working on Machine Learning and AI for more than 25 years, on areas ranging from AI innovations for business process optimization and improving decisions, to understanding and managing AI risks, AI governance, regulations, as well as on new Machine Learning methods. His work has appeared in leading journals and mentioned in global media, such as in Science Magazine, Nature Machine Intelligence, Machine Learning, Nature Digital Medicine, Management Science, Harvard Business Review, Bloomberg, Fortune, and others. He is currently director of the INSEAD Executive Education program on “Transforming your Business with AI”. He has been a member of the OECD Network of Experts on AI, an advisor for the BCG Henderson Institute, and a World Economic Forum Academic Partner for Artificial Intelligence. He is advising CEOs on topics of technology, AI and business strategy, and is a frequent keynote speaker in academic, industry, and corporate events. He has four degrees from MIT, two BSc degrees simultaneously, Computer Science and Mathematics, a Master and a PhD degree in Computer Science with a focus on machine learning.
