PERSONAL DETAILS – BRIEF CV

Born and raised in Athens, Greece. Married, mother of four children.

Studied music composition and symphony orchestra conducting at the Juilliard School in NY (1996 – 2000). Worked as a professional composer and conductor (2000 – 2017). Conducted the Beijing Opera Orchestra in 2008, during the Official Ceremonies of the Olympic Games.

In 2017 started directing Elliniki Agogi. The school mainly focuses on learning and spreading the Classical Greek language and culture since 1994. Elliniki Agogi has been awarded the “Education Leaders” Awards in 2020 and 2022 for the original method of teaching preschool and primary school students as well as for the use of innovative teaching methods combining tradition with technology. In 2022 Elliniki Agogi was also awarded “Best Ancient Greek Education Provider - Southeast Europe” by the “Corporate Vision Small Business” Awards.
