Dimitris Demos was born in Athens, Greece, and holds a degree in Chemistry from the University of Athens and an MBA in Economics from Fordham University in New York. Following his studies, he joined the family business of DEMO A.B.E.E. Pharmaceutical Industry working in various positions, applying his business vision in practice.   Today, Dimitris Demos is the CEO of DEMO SA, one of the largest manufacturers of injectables in Europe, with an annual turnover of 230 million Euros, 4 state-of-the-art production units of 66,000 sq.m. and 1,313 employees. The company heavily invests in production and exports, which is why DEMO exports 84% of its annual production to 86 countries around the world, while, with the remaining 16% sold in Greece, it is the biggest supplier in terms of units, to Greek Hospitals. DEMO SA has over 2,700 SKUs sold under its own brand and 619 SKUs that are in the process of being licensed.  With its new investment plan of over 350 million Euros for the period 2021-2027, DEMO is implementing more than 25% of the total investments of the Greek pharmaceutical sector.  Mr. Dimitris Demos is also Vice President of the Panhellenic Union of the Pharmaceutical Industry, which represents the collective domestic pharmaceutical production in Greece.
