Aris Mitsopoulos holds the position of Executive Vice President of RAFARM S.A., a leading European pharmaceutical company established in 1974, based in Greece with related companies in Greece, UK, and USA. Moreover, in 2016 he co-founded Aggrega Pharma, a company that committed to building a selective, valuable pipeline of generic products by leveraging the vast R&D, clinical and manufacturing experience and capabilities of its members: Bluepharma (Portugal), RAFARM (Greece), Substipharm (France), Welding (Germany).
As the Executive Vice President of RAFARM, Aris Mitsopoulos has managed to establish RAFARM as one of Europe’s major players in ophthalmics and injectables. He implements his ambitious growth plan that focuses on the development of new value added and complex pharmaceutical products, the expansion of exports by leveraging the US market and the opening of new markets. He also supports the transformation of Greece to a significant pharma manufacturing hub for Europe.
He has studied Business Administration at the Athens’ American College of Greece, and has an MBA in Finance from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, UK.
