Beatrice (Bea) Larregle joined Visa in April 2019 as Regional Managing Director for Southern Europe, in charge of Visa’s business, strategy and activities in Italy, Spain, Turkey, Portugal, Greece, Israel, Cyprus and Malta. She joined Visa from Experian – the world's leading global information services company. In her latest role at Experian Bea was Market President for the France and Benelux cluster based in The Hague (Netherlands).
Bea brings over 25 years’ experience driving growth and transforming technology-enabled businesses in a number of senior leadership positions. Over the past decade at Experian, she served as Managing Director and Chairwoman of Experian Morocco, and as Head of Experian credit bureau’s business in South Africa (one of the largest Credit Bureaus in the EMEA region), and subsequently as Head of Operations.
Bea started her career in 1995 as Practice Lead for payment related projects in a boutique consulting firm specialized in financial services based in the UK. In 1999, she joined an Internet start-up enabling the world’s first electronic cash/purse transaction on the networks. Thereafter, Bea joined Morgan Stanley Credit Card Services in London where she held a number of positions including Director of Business Technology, Vice President of Customer Management and Executive Director of Strategic Initiatives in charge of M&A activities and the UK side of the spin-off of Discover Financial Services from Morgan Stanley.
She has lived and worked in Europe (London for seventeen years, The Hague for three years, and now in Madrid), as well as in Africa (three years in Casablanca, Morocco and three years in Johannesburg, South Africa).
Bea was born in the South of France, and holds a Master of Management from ESCP Europe (Oxford, Madrid, Paris). She is fluent in French, English and Spanish.
