Dimitris Fragakis was born in 1972 in Athens. His place of origin is Chania, Crete.
He holds a MSc. in Law and Political Science from the University of Athens and he is a graduate of the Athens School of Philosophy.
He has served, among others, as Deputy Director General at the ‘Konstantinos K. Mitsotakis’ Foundation (2000 – 2003), as Greek Prime Minister’s Kyriakos Mitsotakis Scientific Associate at the Hellenic Parliament (2004 – 2013) and as his Senior Advisor at the Ministry of Administrative Reform (2013 – 2014).
During 2014 – 2019 he served as Secretary General at the Municipality of Chania, Crete.
He run for office at the Greek National Elections in 2019 with the political party of New Democracy.
His family is involved in the tourism business.
He speaks English and Italian and he has a son.
