Panagiotis E. Petrakis is a Professor Emeritus at the Department of Economics at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece, where he served as Chairman from 2005 to 2009. He is the Chief Scientific Supervisor of the E-Learning Programme of the Center of Continuing Education and Lifelong Learning of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Additionally, he has been a board member of scientific committees in the private and public sectors. He has numerous publications in high-profile international scientific journals and authored a series of textbooks. His scholarly interests include foresight, economic development, entrepreneurship, cultural background, and the shaping of human economic behavior.
