Christos Tsolkas is the Chief Executive Officer of Delta Foods, a group of food & beverage companies, part of VIVARTIA SA on a transformative and value creation mission, since April 2022.
He has spent 30 years in positions of significant responsibility (General Management, Sales & Marketing) with multinationals in the FMCG sector, leading senior teams to achieving high performance and change. His educational background is Chemical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (ΕΜΠ) & Business (Imperial College London), and he is dedicated to continuous learning.
Christos has had the unique opportunity to lead organizations in the midst of extreme crises not once but twice; he was present when the Greek Economic Crisis of 2010 unfolded rapidly and also when the Ukrainian Crisis of 2013/14 devolved into the first geopolitical conflict in the area. In both cases, Christos stabilized business operations and maintained the morale and security of personnel and he led essential for growth brand portfolio initiatives. Most importantly he leveraged the opportunity to catalyze the development of his management teams, enabling the organization to weather those storms and thrive.
Christos is a turnaround practitioner, a creative thinker, and keen on internal startups, and digital, driven by the possibility of new ideas to transform businesses, grow markets and inspire people. An author (“The Gift of Crisis – How Leaders Use Purpose to Renew their Lives, Change their Organizations, and Save the World”, 2020), HBR contributor, blogger and passionate speaker, Christos was born in Athens, Greece and has lived, and worked across Europe. He was relocated from Switzerland and currently resides in Athens.
