Marios Themistocleous is the Secretary General of Primary Health Care at Ministry of Health in Greece. He is a Neurosurgeon, graduated from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He has MSc in Health Management and Health Economics and PhD from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Marios also serves as the Coordinator of the National Vaccination Programme against Covid-19 and the Special Advisory Committee for the Health Initiative of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation on behalf of the Presidency of the Government. He has served as President of the National Central Health Procurement Authority, President of the Chief Committee of Health Sector Insurance Fund (TSAY) and Vice President on the Board of Directors of ETAA (Unified Fund of the Self Employed). Marios has worked as Neurosurgeon in the United Kingdom and in Greece.
