Cheryl Novak is research associate at the Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy conducting research in Sustainability, Migration and Ocean Governance, and participates in EU projects on migrant women entrepreneurship and irregular migration. She is also Sustainability Advisor at the Rhodes co-lab, a creative collaboration between TUI Group and the South Aegean Region which aims to transition the island to net zero by 2030 and create a holistic sustainable business model for tourism. Cheryl holds a MSt in International Relations from the University of Cambridge, a MSc in Sustainability and Quality in the Marine Industry, and many professional certifications. Formerly the Director General of Education Activities at the European Public Law Organization and a correspondent at Thomson Reuters, Cheryl originates from Rhode Island, USA.
