Dimitris Psarris is a Senior Partner in Bain’s global Financial Services and Private Equity Practices, founder and Managing Partner of Bain & Company Greece & Cyprus and member of the firm’s European leadership team.
He started his consulting career in London in 2007 and since then has advised major banks, insurers, corporates, private equity firms, governments and regulators in more than 15 countries across Europe, Middle East, the US and Africa, based out of London, Madrid, New York and Athens.
Prior to joining Bain, worked at Oliver Wyman as Managing Partner for Greece and senior member of the firm’s global Financial Services practice, the EMEA FS leadership team and the Global Partner Development Council. Led Oliver Wyman’s market entry to Greece & Cyprus, founded the firm’s Athens office and established it as one of the most successful and fastest growing businesses across EMEA.
Dimitris has extensive experience working with Boards, CEOs and management teams on large transformation programs and initiatives involving strategy and business development, value creation programs, new business launches, commercial effectiveness, cost reduction and risk management.
For more than a decade, Dimitris has been a leading consultant in Greece & Cyprus. He has been at the forefront of Greece’s recovery from the crisis, having supported all systemic banks, investors, major corporates, as well as the European and local authorities on several high-profile restructuring, turnaround and distressed assets management initiatives. In more recent years, Dimitris has assisted some of the country’s top companies in redefining their strategy and in the design and successful implementation of large-scale performance improvement and transformation programs.
