Andreas Zombanakis (64) has 35 years’ experience in Investment Banking and Venture Capital in London and Athens.

He serves on the Board of several NGOs including Elliniki Etairia (Society for the Environment and Cultural Heritage), the Gennadius Library (Chairman); The American School of Classical Studies at Athens (Trustee); Chara (Chairman), a residential home for children with special needs and Ecumenica, which supports the work of the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople. He has also served on a number of commercial Boards in the UK, Saudi Arabia and Greece where he is currently an independent director of the Asset Management Division of Eurobank.

Andreas is a former President of the Archons of the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople, and has a BA from Harvard University (Anthropology/Archaeology), a Master of Architecture from the School of Fine Arts of the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from The Wharton School. He lives between Athens and Crete where he actively manages his family’s farms.
