Izabella M. Tsirba is a dual-qualified lawyer, admitted to the Athens Bar Association and the Roll of Solicitors of England and Wales. She specializes in financial and capital markets law and has a proven track record of delivering strategic legal advice to multinational enterprises in London and in Athens. She also has a keen awareness of corporate governance and sustainability matters. Izabella is a member of the Corporate Governance Working Group of the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV). She was also the project coordinator and country researcher for Greece in the EU-wide study on Directors’ Duties and Liability undertaken by the LSE Enterprise for the European Commission (2013) and she was invited by CSR Hellas twice (2021, 2022) as an expert professional to discuss the legal aspects of sustainability at CSR School. In 2019 she was recognized by the Euromoney Legal Media Group as a “Rising Star: In-House Counsel” in Europe.

Izabella is the elected Vice-President of the Hellenic Alumni Association of LSE (HAALSE), serving her second consecutive term on the association’s Board of Directors. She has led on behalf of the Board of Directors events on sustainability, initiatives in diversity and inclusion, as well as civil society actions. She is also a supporter of Women Act and the 30% Club. Izabella’s contribution is one of the hundred contributions featured in the book “I am dangerous” (in Greek: «Είμαι Επικίνδυνη»), a collective work that aims at empowering women and promoting gender equality in Greece.

She holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in corporate and securities law from the London School of Economics and Political Science, a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in private international law from the Law School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She has also attended the private international law course at the Hague Academy of International Law, as well as courses on journalism and international relations at Harvard University.

She speaks Greek, English, French and German.
