Pia is the Chief Financial Officer of Outokumpu. Outokumpu is the global leader in stainless steel. Pia was employed by Outokumpu since 2019 and she is a member of the Outokumpu Leadership Team. Pia’s responsibilities as the CFO are financial and business controlling; treasury, mergers and acquisitions, taxation, internal controls and internal audit, investor relations, general procurement, strategy and Transformation Office. Previously, Pia was the Executive Vice President & CFO at Ahlström-Munksjö and before that she was Chief Financial Officer at Munksjö 2015-2017 and at Vacon 2013-2015. Before these Pia made a 13 year long career at Stora Enso in various Senior Vice President and managerial positions. Pia holds a M.Soc.Sc. (Econ.) the University of Helsinki and MBA from the Henley Business School. Pia was the Board member and (2017–03/2023) the Chair of the Audit Committee (2018– 03/2023) at Uponor. Now she is a nominee to the Board and Audit Committee of UPM.
