Professor Panos Vlachopoulos is the Vice President for Academic Affairs at the American College of Greece in Athens. He has the primary leadership responsibilities for planning, implementing, and coordinating the educational programs of the College. Professor Vlachopoulos has worked in senior leadership positions over the last 15 years in Universities in the UK, Hong Kong, New Zealand and more recently in Australia before his return to Greece in September 2022. He led major curriculum transformation projects in partnership with industry, including the development of the contemporary Bachelor of Arts at Macquarie University in Sydney Australia, which won the Australian Financial Review Award 2020 in the category of Employability. He is an active researcher in the area of digital learning, online teaching and reflective practice. He has published extensively in this field and has presented in numerous conferences as an invited speaker.
