Iossif Kiouroukoglou joined Bank of America Merrill Lynch in 2006 after having worked for 2 years at Credit Suisse. In 2014 Iossif was appointed Head of Greece & Cyprus Investment Banking to drive Bank of Americas investment banking business in the region across products and industry sectors. And in May 2017 he also assumed coverage responsibility for EMEA transportation infrastructure space covering large European groups and infrastructure funds investing in the transportation infrastructure sector.

During his career Iossif has worked on more than 70 transactions with an aggregate value of more than €160bn globally. This includes landmark transactions in Greece such as various capital raises by all systemically important Greek banks, numerous government bond issuances, the Hellenic Republic’s liability management on €30bn Greek government bonds and numerous M&A transactions. Outside Greece includes landmark M&A and IPO transactions in airports, ports and toll roads for leading global transportation infrastructure conglomerates, funds and Sovereign entities, most recently including Hapag Lloyd’s acquisition of an Indian port platform, the IPO of Salik, the sale of Autostrade per Italia from Atlantia, Atlantia’s take private by Blackstone & Edizione and Ferrovial’s acquisition of a controlling stake in JFK New Terminal One.
