Born in Athens, Makis Provatas has been presenting radio broadcasts on a daily basis since 1999. Since 2021 in ERA. He has interviewed more than 400 personalities. Scientists, writers, artists and politicians such as Stephen Hawking, Dario Fo, Noam Chomsky, Eric Hobsbawm, Richard Dawkins, Yuval Noah Harari, John Cleese, Irvin Yalom, Patti Smith, John Malkovich, Garry Kasparov, Mikhail Baryshnikov. Those interviews have been published in greek newspapers and magazines: To Vima, VIMAgazino and Athens Voice. He collaborated with the magazine ‘Istoria’ writing articles and taking interviews from Greek politicians such as Konstantinos Mitsotakis.
