Yiouli (Georgia) Menoudakou is a graduate of the Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences, with an MBA Master’s degree from the Athens University of Economics and Business. Her primary studies on Public Health and her humanitarian interests, have led her to the health sector from her early professional stages.

She has been working at Hellenic Transplant Organization (HTO) since 2003, as a certified Transplant Coordinator and a Communications and Organ Donation Promotion Manager. Since 2012 she is Head of the National Organ Transplant Coordination Department and the 24/365 coordination center. Yiouli is highly involved in the organization and coordination of the donation and transplantation procedures, in the development of the safety and quality framework of the Greek Transplantation System. She has a great experience in the design and implementation of organ donation campaigns and in the elaboration of inspiring Health Professionals’ donation related educational courses. She is a member of the teaching faculty at the TPM - DTI Foundation, an international range Transplant Procurement Management course.

She has been a member of legislative committees on organ graft allocation systems and on Donation and Transplantation legal reform. She represents the HTO and the Ministry of Health to the European Commission Competent Authorities for Organ Donation and Transplantation and to the Council of Europe Network of National Focal Points (NFPs) on Travel for Transplantation and Organ Trafficking Combat.
