Alex Maniatopoulos founded Yodiwo in 2015 and since then he has held the position of CEO. He has been an entrepreneur for 20 years founding three start-ups, DCT (acquired by Atmel), eConais and Yodiwo. He was the Product Development Director and General Manager in the design center of Atmel in Greece from 1998 until he moved to Sweden in 2016 to join Nanoradio AB, as a VP of Engineering. He played an essential role in the acquisition of Nanoradio AB by Samsung in 2012 and he stayed with Samsung until 2015 at the position of the Senior Director of Product Development and Managing Director of Samsung Nanoradio Design Center in Greece.
Alex holds his MSc and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science from the University of Patras, has 12 publications in international magazines and holds 3 US patents. He is was a Vice President of the Hellenic Semiconductor Industry Alliance (HSIA) and he is a member of Endeavor, the international network of high-impact entrepreneurs in emerging markets.
