Kostis is considered a pioneer investor that helped shape the sustainability / impact investing market in Europe. In the past two decades, and today with the swiss impact office, he has been managing global, diversified impact portfolios (directs and funds) aiming at advancing the circular economy. He has a long investment track record with 100s of millions in Venture Capital, Private Equity and Project Finance and has worked with among others, Lombard Odier, Bregal/Good Energies and Quadia.
He has been invited as a speaker in international events and conferences, published articles in electronic and print media, and held guest lectures at various Swiss and European universities. In 2018 he founded the Hellenic Impact Investing Network, a platform that aims at advancing the local impact ecosystem in Southeast Europe and connecting it to the global impact investing community.
He held various board positions in high growth companies in the past, and today serves, inter alia as a Chairman of the Board of Dutch biodiverse reforestation asset manager Generation Forest Invest. He grew up in a family of entrepreneurs in the ethical cosmetics space before getting his Banking and Finance MBA with magna cum laude at the University of Zurich.
