Alexander Skouras is seasoned think tank executive and a political strategist. He is the President of the Center for Liberal Studies (KEFiM) based in Greece. In September 2021, he joined forces with the Czech Institute for Economics Education (INEV) in order to expand The Economics Olympiad around the world.
Under Alexander’s leadership, the Center for Liberal Studies has grown from a small network of volunteers into Greece’s foremost liberal institution with significant impact in terms of policy and culture change. His op-eds on politics, economics, and individual freedom are frequently featured in major news outlets and he is a regular guest on popular TV and radio shows.
Earlier in his career Alexander served as Director of Institute Relations at the Atlas Network, where he engaged with a vast network of 490 think tanks from 93 countries. During his four years at Atlas, Alexander trained more than 300 think-tank professionals and offered expert advice to more than 40 newly founded think tanks on their strategic planning.
Prior to his focus on the think tank world, Alexander was a successful political campaign executive in US and Greek national and local elections.
