Andreas Borgeas is the CEO of Greece-Africa Power (GAP), a transnational electrical interconnection project between Greece and Egypt. The GAP is a member of the Eunice Energy Group headquartered in Athens.

Prior to the GAP, Borgeas served as a California State Senator and as a federally appointed commissioner on the US-China Economic and Security Review Commission. His professional background includes service in law, policy, and global affairs.

Andreas Borgeas Ph.D. was a Fulbright Scholar in Greece and completed graduate studies at Harvard University, Georgetown Law School, and Panteion University in Athens.

As CEO of the GAP, Borgeas leads efforts to advance the international consortium, working with leadership representatives from Greece, Egypt, America, and the European Union to accelerate the completion of the electrical interconnection project between the two continents, Europe, and Africa.
