Dr Y. Manios is a Professor at the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, School of Health Science and Education at Harokopio University in Athens. His research interests include nutritional assessment of large national and multinational cohorts as well as the development and implementation of community based interventions to promote health and wellbeing for children, adults and families. Since 2000 he has been actively involved as a Principal Investigator in many National, European research programs and clinical trials either funded by the private sector, public sector or EU such as FP5, FP6, FP7, Horizon 2020, and Horizon Europe. He has authored more than 620 papers published in international scientific journals with more than 33,200 citations and has received 11 awards for his scientific work by national and international organizations.
