Anna Rokofyllou studied at Athens Law School. She completed her Masters in
Community Law at Paris I (Sorbonne) and XI (Sceaux) universities. She has repeatedly
represented Greece at the European Court of Justice, as a legal advisor and Community
Law expert at the Special Legal Service of the European Communities at the Ministry.
Since 1994 she has been elected in local government and served as Delegated Tourism
Councilor.
She was also elected and active member of the Executive Council of the Central Union of
Greek Municipalities from 2007 to 2012, where she was President of the Equality
Committee as well as a member of the Congress of Municipalities and Regions of the
Council of Europe.
In 2019 she became President of the Organization of Culture, Sports and Youth of the
Municipality of Athens and 2021 she was the first Deputy Mayor of Equality Policies,
Combating Discrimination and Gender-Based Violence.
Today she is Member of the Municipal Council of Athens and a Parliamentary Candidate
Athens A with the political party of Nea Demokratia.
