Prof. Dr Eng. Emmanuel Karapidakis is Dean at School of Engineering and Director of
Energy, Environment and Climate Change Institute (IEECC, ieecc.hmu.gr) in Hellenic
Mediterranean University. His research interest focuses on Energy Policy, Power
Systems Operation, Diverse & Dispersed Generation, Micro-Grids, Renewable Energy
Sources, and Energy Trading. He is/was scientific coordinator of 11 European financed
projects, 7 National programmes and more than 20 private funded projects. Since 2022,
he is President of Hellenic Association of Electricity Storage Systems (HAESS,
www.haess.gr).
