She has been working in both the electricity and natural gas sector for the last 12 years
mainly focusing on business development and business planning. Starting as an Energy
Trader dealing with electricity transaction mainly between Greece and Bulgaria, she moved
in the strategy team of the National Natural Gas Transmission System Operator (DESFA)
actively participating on the elaboration of DESFA’s Tariff Regulation and in the formulation of the relevant pricing model for the calculation of transmission system usage charges. She was responsible for the transposition of EU Regulation 460/2019 into the Greek legal framework as well as the whole coordination and yearly monitoring of tariffs. In parallel she is engaged in the preparation of DESFA’s Ten Year Development Plan, including cost-benefit analysis for projects and their economic assessment from the scouting till final application and monitoring progress of funding opportunities for projects under national and EU programs.
She has extensive experience related to the analyses of new-business proposals that create and nurture opportunities and partnerships, identifying risks and benefits of said investment proposals with main outcome the building of action plans for strategic initiatives improving business performance as per DESFA’s corporate strategy.
