Amalia Katzou was born in Athens, lives in Drosia and now works as a manager at the site Newsbomb.gr. She has been working as a journalist since 1999. She has attended specialized financial and stock market seminars in London. She started as a financial and stock market columnist in financial newspapers and sites (ISOTIMIA, AXIA, reporter.gr, capital.gr) and then started working for major television networks (OPEN, MEGA). She has also been working as a political editor since 2012.

She has covered major events such as critical Eurogroup and EU summits. She has presented news bulletins on Epsilon channel, morning show on OPEN and participated in the weekend show on Mega channel. In 2010, she turned to digital journalism and in July 2019 she worked as a political and financial reporter for CNN Greece.
