Nicos Tornaritis

Parliamentary Leader of DISY and Chairman of the Legal Affairs, Justice and Public Order Committee, House of Representatives Republic of Cyprus

Mr. Nicos Tornaritis has served as the Parliamentary Leader of, DISY, since 2013. He has held a position as a member of the Parliament of the Republic of Cyprus since 2001. Presently, Mr. Tornaritis occupies the role of Chairman of the Legal Affairs Committee and has successfully achieved judicial reform. Since 2020, he has been designated as the Head of the Cyprus Delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. Moreover, he has led the Parliament’s delegation to the Asian Parliamentary Assembly since 2013. In 2017, Mr. Tornaritis was honored with the election to the roles of APA Vice President and President of the APA Standing Committee on Economic and Sustainable Development.
