Omar Rahal, from Palestine, holds a Ph.D. in political science. Part-time lecturer in the Department of Political Science and Public Administration - Birzeit University; Supervised and discussed a number of master's theses in Palestinian universities.
Rahal has published a number of books and studies on the following topics:Good Governance,Human Rights, The Security Sector,Political Science,Youth,Women, Municipalities, Democracy,Elections,Student Movement, Governance, and Civil Society.
Member of the Palestinian Journalists Syndicate and member of the National Complaints Team. Member of a number of scientific committees for a number of local and regional conferences. Member of many Palestinian, Arab and international NGOs. Participated by submitting working papers in a number of local, regional and international conferences and seminars. A human rights trainer. A Palestinian civil society activist.He is currently the director of the Human Rights and Democracy Media Center "SHAMS".
