Dr Kyriakos Hadjiyianni was born in Cyprus. He holds a doctorate from the University of Tübingen in Germany where he obtained his PhD in Political Science. He is a Member of the House of Representatives of Cyprus since 2006. Dr. Hadjiyiannis is the Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee Energy, Trade, Industry and Tourism.
In addition, Dr. Hadjiyiannis is a Member of the Bureau of OSCE PA since 2016. He has served as Rapporteur of the General Committee on Democracy, Human Rights and Humanitarian Questions for 3 years. Chair of the same Committee for 2 years. Special Representative of the OSCE PA on Civil Society Involvement. Τoday he serves as Vice President of the OSCE PA.
