She joined journalism in 1993-94.
In 1995-1996, she was recruited by the European Commission at the Directorate General for Agriculture. From 1996 to 2006 she was a visiting Lecturer at the Cyprus Academy of Public Administration on European Union matters.
Important points in her career were the accession of Cyprus to the EU next to the Negotiator, the national campaign for the adoption of the Euro in Cyprus, the Press Office at the Central Bank of Cyprus, the communication "model" internally and externally for Cyprus and the crisis communication management of the 2013 financial crisis.
In 2021 she was elected President of the Cyprus Economists Association.
