Antonis Frangoudis was born in 1966 in Nicosia. He graduated from the Acropolis Lyceum and after serving his military service he went for studies abroad where he received his Bachelor in Economics from the University of Essex in the United Kingdom in 1990 and his Masters in Management Science and Operations Research from the University of Warwick in the United Kingdom in 1991.
Since 1992, he works for the Cyprus Employers and Industrialists Federation (OEB) where he held several posts including that of the Industry and Economic Research Department Officer and of the Economic Affairs Officer. In 2010 he was promoted to Senior Industry and Services Department Officer and in 2017 he was promoted to Director of the Business Development and Economic Affairs Department. In 2023 he was appointed Director of the Economic Affairs and Administration Department.
Antonis is a member of the Statistical Council appointed by the Council of Ministers.
