Stephanos Stavros Evangelides

Stefanos Evangelides holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the London School of Economics and Political Sciences, and is a graduate of the UK’s Legal Practice Course. He pursued a Master’s degree in Finance and Financial Law at the University of London, and has worked as a law professional for 15 years. He has also been active in Cyprus’ LGBTQI+ movement, initially through the NGO Generation for Change CY, which works with LGBTQI+ migrants, and today, as Accept Board Secretary. He takes a dynamic role in Accept's events, fundraising, projects and advocacy teams, and was part of the organization’s intense lobbying effort that saw Cyprus outlaw conversion therapies in May 2023.
