Responsible for several urban renewal projects among which the creation of an energylandscape with democratic support model, allowing the construction of 22 windturbines without neighbourhood opposition, currently covering 130% of the city's electricity needs. Later copied the approach to district heathing, solar sharing and food. Believes we need to rebrand energy as a local product, translating saving CO2 into saving local added value. Has a passion for healthy lifestyle, and simple things like gardening, while being caught up by more complex issues like the relation between energy and democracy in world history.
