Ambassador Grenet-Catalano joined the French diplomatic service in 1997, after graduating from the Paris Institute of Political science and obtaining a certificate of language and civilization in literal Arabic. She has held various positions both at headquarters such as advisor of the Minister Delegate for Cooperation and Francophony, or as head of mission at the Crisis center of the French Ministry of Foreign affairs. Abroad, she previously served as political advisor in Syria, Croatia, and Italy. Most recently she was deputy head of mission in Lebanon. She has been appointed Ambassador of France to the Republic of Cyprus by the French President in November 2020.
