Theodore Vafiadis, Director of Communications and Culture at TEU Shipping and Forwarding, is a seasoned global commercial and change management professional with a strong focus on the liner shipping and supply chain industry. With over 17 years of experience, Theodore has excelled in commercial managerial roles at prominent companies, including MSC (Balkan Logistics Platform project), Arkas Line and Yang Ming Line. As the Director of Communications and Culture at TEU Shipping and Forwarding, Theodore leads a dynamic team responsible for key pillars including ISO, ESG, GDPR, EcoVadis, Corporate Social Responsibility, Ethics and Code of Conduct.
A maritime economics graduate from the University of Piraeus and an alumnus of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (ICS), dedicated to giving back to the industry, Theodore is an active pro bono mentor within WISTA mentorship program, contributing to the professional growth of women in the field
