Graduate of the German School of Thessaloniki.
Studies in Economics and Business Administration at the Ruhr University of Bochum/Germany.
Post-graduate studies in Operation Research at the «Rheinisch-Westfaliche Technische Hochschule» of Aachen. Graduation in May 1978.
Fluent in English and German, good knowledge of French.
Trading with textiles in Thessaloniki since 1981.
President and Managing Director of Karamanof Kefalaiou AELDE 1998-2002.
Elected as member of the Board of Directors at Thessaloniki Chamber of Commerce and Industry in December 1987.
Treasurer of Thessaloniki Chamber of Commerce and Industry (January 1988 -December 1993).
Secretary General of Thessaloniki Chamber of Commerce and Industry (December 1993 - December 1997).
2nd Vice President of Thessaloniki Chamber of Commerce and Industry (December 1997-June 2006).
1st Vice President of Thessaloniki Chamber of Commerce and Industry, since June 2006.
He has served as 1st Vice President of the Traders Association of Thessaloniki.
He has served as Vice President of the BSEC-BC Hellas.
He has served as 2nd Vice President of Hellenic Chambers Transport Association.
Μember of the Board of Directors of Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF).
Honorary Vice President of the Greek National Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce.
Has been elected in WCF General Council (2011, 2014 and 2016).
Member of the ICC Commission on Intellectual Property.
Member of the ICC - Greek Commission on Environment and Energy (Dec. 2016).
BSEC Business Council Board Member for Greece, since September 2011 up until December 2014.
