Dr. Christos Dionelis is an experienced Transport Engineer, with deep expertise in railways transport, road and logistics planning. He has a Civil Engineering Degree from Aristotelion University of Thessaloniki, MSc in Highways and Transport from City University and Phd from National Technical University of Athens, in “Strategic Planning for the Development of the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T)”. He has worked many years with Hellenic Railways Organisation, and was CEO in ERGOSE SA from 2017-2019. From 2010-2015 he worked as Transport Attache in the Permanent Representation of Greece in the EU. During the Greek Presidency, January 2014-June 2014, he was Chairman of the Working Group of Railways of the Council and of the Horizontal Issues Group (Networks development).
